    Saint-Jacob Diodonet (West Milford, N.J.) of St. Thomas Aquinas College has been selected as the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Year, as voted on by the conference's coaches.

  • Spartans Rack Up All-Conference Awards at ECC Championships

    Following a program best 3rd place finish at the East Coast Conference Championships, the Women's Track and Field team garnered 14 All-Conference Awards. Sohomore Kristen Borriello led the way with 3 First Team Awards. The men's team earned 16 All-Conference Awards.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas Track & Field program performed well at the ECC Championships with both teams finishing 3rd overall. Gabriela Sloezen and Cecelia Pfleging each took 1st place in their respective events.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas College was represented by select athletes in the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Moravian College. Winslow Dorsainvil finished 1st in the 100 meters hitting a season best time of 10.67 in the race.

    The Spartans women's track & field team finished 4th at the Rider Invite against 14 Division I,II, III and Junior Colleges. Gabriela Sloezen broke the school record in the 800 meters, marking the 3rd record shattered this weekend by the women's team.

  • Spartans Compete at Roadrunner Invitational

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's track & field team finished in 4th place at the Roadrunner Invite hosted by Ramapo College this past weekend. Kristen Borriello took 2nd place in the 800 where she ran a 2:19.99 in the event. Meaghan Ventarola took 4th place in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:03.34. Katie O'Grady took 7th place in the 5000 Meters, where she ran 19:21.20. Molly Conner took 5th place in the 100 meter hurdles where she ran 16.89.

    St. Thomas Aquinas College will be represented this year at the Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships by junior Winslow Dorsainvil and freshman Saint-Jacob Diodonet. Winslow will be running in the 60 Meters at the championships while Saint will be running the 400 Meters.

The Men's team finished in 2nd place to Roberts Wesleyan while the women had a program best finish in the ECC Indoor Championship by taking 3rd.

    The Spartan Track & Field teams competed at the Terrier Classic at Boston University this weekend. Many new school records were set as they continue to raise the bar for the program. Gabriela Sloezen, Meaghan Ventarola, the women's DMR team, and Saint-Jacob Diodonet each set a new mark for STAC.

    The first official regular season national poll came out for the USTFCCCA and the Spartans were ranked 34th in the Country. Winslow Dorsainvil was ranked 6th in the Country in the 60 meters, Saint-Jacob Diodonet was ranked ranked 28th in the 60 meters, 16th in the 200 meters and 6th in the 400 meters. Tristan Holmgren also was ranked 22nd in the High Jump.
  • Saint-Jacob Diodonet Breaks School Record at the Gotham Cup on Friday

    St. Thomas Aquinas track & field competed in the Gotham Cup on Friday afternoon held at the Ocean Breeze Facility in Staten Island. Saint-Jacob Diodonet, freshman from West Millford, kept his stellar season alive where he broke the school record inthe 400 and ran a time of 48.01.

    The Spartan Regional Invite was contested on Friday, January 15th 2016 at the newly opened Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island. Over 800 Athletes in 20 schools competed in the first track and field meet ever hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College.

    Saint Jacob Diodonet, Gabriela Sloezen and Katherine Monahan wer named the Track & Field Athletes of the Week by the East Coast Conference. Diodonet, a freshman, was named Male Runner of the Week. Senior Sloezen was named Women's Runner of the Week and junior Mollahan was the Women's Field Athlete of the week.
