They say great moments come from great opportunities.  On Friday, two Spartan athletes competed at the highest level of Division II Track and Field.  Winslow Dorsainvil and Saint-Jacob Diodonet competedat the Division II National Championships in Pittsburgh, Kansas.  

This was Dorsainvil's 3rd Indoor Championships in which he finished the 2016 season as the 13th best 60 meter runner in Division II.  His season best this year in the 60 meters is 6.79 and he ran 6.84 in the National Championships.

For Diodonet, it was his 1st season with the Spartans, as well as being his 1st Indoor Collegiate National Championships.  Diodonet finished 13th overall in Division II with a time of 48.28.  Coming into the National Championships he ran a new personal record and Spartan Indoor record time of 47.77.

The Spartans will next compete in Miami on Wednesday and Friday and Saturday.  Wednesday the Spartans will be having a dual meet with Nova Southeastern and Friday/Saturday will be at the Hurricane Invitational.
