The St. Thomas Aquinas women's track & field team finished in 4th place at the Roadrunner Invite hosted by Ramapo College this past weekend.  Kristen Borriello took 2nd place in the 800 where she ran a 2:19.99 in the event.  Meaghan Ventarola took 4th place in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:03.34. Katie O'Grady took 7th place in the 5000 Meters, where she ran 19:21.20.  Molly Conner took 5th place in the 100 meter hurdles where she ran 16.89.  

The 4x800 team of Patricia Nersten, Kristen Borriello, Gabby Sloezen and Meaghan Ventarola broke the school record in the event by nearly 12 second when they ran 9:41.68 in the event and the team took 2nd place in the event. 

Laura Gerraputa took 5th place overall in the Long Jump and hit a new personal record when she jumped 4.98m (16'4.25).   Breanna Lyn took 6th place in the triple jump with a jump of 10.34 (33'11.25).  Katherine Mollahan took 4th place in the shot put when she threw 10.77m (35'4).

On the men's side, the 4x800 team of Ryan Gasser, Dylan Bestler, Frankie Schiavone, and Christian Diaz took 4th place in a time of 8:38.11.  Dylan Bestler also hit a new personal best in the 400 hurdles by running 58.07 and taking 9th place overall in the event.
