Spartans Finish as Runner Up at NCAA Regional; Advance to NCAA Championships
May 11, 2017The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished in 2nd place at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional played at The Resort at Glade Springs, Daniels, West Virginia. The Spartans will advance to the NCAA Championships May 22-26, at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. Senior Brendan Hunter finished tied for 7th overall with three round scores of; 77, 73, 73.

May 09, 2017The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished on top of the leaderboard after round two of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional played at The Resort at Glade Springs, Daniels, West Virginia. Michael Frizzalone and Brendan Hunter each carded 73 on day two helping guide the Spartans to a 296 team score.

May 08, 2017The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished in 3rd place after the opening round of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional played at The Resort at Glade Springs, Daniels, West Virginia. Kevin Gately shot a team low 71 which ties him for 3rd place. The Spartans are just three strokes off the leaders, Mercyhurst University.

Spartans Earn 2nd Win of the Spring Season, Miranda Shoots 70, 71 to Earn Win
April 11, 2017The St. Thomas Aquinas men’s golf team won their second event of the spring season with a wire to wire victory at their annual Spring invitational. In the 36-hole event, the Spartans posted rounds of 284 and 288 to shoot a combined 4-under par 572, good for a 23 shot victory over the runner-up, Dominican College.

Spartan Golf Team Opens Spring Season With A Win; Miranda Takes 1st Place
March 21, 2017The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s golf team earned a first place finish at the BrownGolf Intercollegiate at the FireFox Resort in Jackson Springs, NC. The Spartans were led by junior Michael Miranda who started the spring with a 5 shot victory over the 82 person field. Miranda set the tone during the first round of play, carding the day’s low round with a 2 under par 70.

Spartans Take 2nd Place in LeMoyne Fall Invitational; Frizalone Ties for 2nd
October 18, 2016The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished in 2nd place at the LeMoyne Fall Invitational. Sophomore Michael Frizalone finshed tied for 2nd place overall carding a 72, 71 in the two day event.

Gately Finishes 1-Under to Win Eagle Invitational
October 12, 2016St. Thomas Aquinas Colege senior Kevin Gately shot a 1-under two day score of 141 to finish in first place at the Post Eagle Invitational played at the Waterbury Golf Club. Gately was tied for first place after his first round shooting 70 and finished alone at the top of the leaderboard after carding a 71 on day two.

Spartan Golf Team Completes Day One in NCAA DII Preview
October 03, 2016The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team is participating in the NCAA DII Preview on October 3rd and 4th. The Preview is hosted by St. Leo University at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Fla. The tournament will be 36 holes Monday followed by 18 on Tuesday.

September 27, 2016St. Thomas Aquinas golfers Michael Frizalone and Michael Miranda tied for 2nd place at the Jasper Invitational hosted by Manhattan College. After two rounds both Spartans had a two day score of 145 along with Hofstra's Eric Shelly.

September 21, 2016The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished in thrid place in the Quechee Division II Challenge played in Quechee, VT. The Spartans led after round one with a team score of 287 to give them a one stroke lead over Wilmington, DE. Kevin Gately led the Spartans with a 68 in the opening round, tying for first place in day one.

Golf Sets 36-Hole Scoring Record en Route to 22 Shot Victory
September 13, 2016The St. Thomas Aquinas men’s golf team started their 2016-2017 with a convincing wire to wire victory at the Franklin Pierce Invitational in Keene, NH. The Spartans posted an astonishing 24-under par 552 team score; the lowest 36-hole score in its team history.
