  • Spartan Seniors Compete in Final Round

    The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished out the 2018 Spring season finishing 8th in the NCAA East/Atlantic Super Regional. Michael Miranda and Hamish Houston completed their final rounds as Spartans including four NCAA Regional Appearances and two NCAA Championship trips in 2016 and 2017.
  • Spartans Finish in 6th After Day Two of NCAA Regional

    The Spartans held a one stroke lead over the field after the opening round to sit in first place entering Tuesday's round.  Senior Michael Miranda shot a second day score of 76 to put him at +2 for the tournament and tied for 8th place.  Fellow senior Hamish Houston shot 72, 77 and is currently among the top twenty, tied for 19th place.
  • Spartans Finish Opening Round in First Place

    DANIELS, W.Va. – St. Thomas Aquinas shot a first round of 290 to take the first round lead at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Men’s Golf Championship at The Resort at Glade Springs on Monday. 
  • Spartan Golf Team Prepares For NCAA Super Regional

    The 2017 - 2018 Men’s golf team had a strong season that has earned them a 15th straight selection to the East/Atlantic Super Regional.  The tournament will be played at The Resort at Glade Springs, Cobb Course from May 7th-May 9th in Daniels, WV.  The Spartans are the #3seed in the East Region and will compete in the East/Atlantic Regional.  
  • Spartans Finish 2nd at Tim Brown Invitational

    The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished in 2nd place at the Tim Brown Invitational this weekend. Hamish Houston tied for 3rd place with a two day score of 147. Michael Miranda shot an opening round score of 72 to help the Spartans. The tournament was played at Ballston Spa Country Club in Ballston Spa, NY.
  • Spartans Finish 4th in Spring Invitational

    The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s golf team finished 4th in their annual Spring Invitational down at Rum Pointe Seaside Links, shooting a team score of 602 (301-301) over two rounds. Leading the team was senior Michael Miranda, who finished runner-up with a two day score of 142 (69-73). Miranda was one of two players in the field to finish the event in red numbers.
  • Spartan Golf Team Ranked #4 in East Region

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team was ranked #4 in the East Region for the first regional ranking announced by the Golf Coaches Association.
  • Spartans Finish 16th in Battle at the Shores

    The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team participated in the Battle at the Shores at Normandy Shores Golf Club April 2nd and 3rd. The Spartans finished in 16th place amongst a very competitive field.
  • Spartan Golf Team Finishes Tied for 4th at Brown Invitational

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished tied for 4th place at the Brown Golf Invitational. Michael Miranda shot 4-over for the tournament while Hamish Houston was 5-over.
  • Miranda Finishes 2nd; Spartans Finish 4th at LeMoyne Fall Invitational

    The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s golf team wrapped up their fall campaign with a 4th place finish at the LeMoyne Fall Invitational this weekend at the Lake Shore Yacht and Country Club.
  • Houston Earns Medalist Honors; Paces Spartans to Third Place Finish

    Senior Hamish Houston earned his first collegiate victory at the Post Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon after carding rounds of 71 - 72. Houston’s 143 (+1) total was his lowest career 36-hole score and was good enough for a 2-shot victory of SNHU’s Sam Riemer.
  • Men's Golf Earns Runner-Up Honors at Dominican Charger Challenge

    The St. Thomas Aquinas Men?s golf team earned a 2nd place finish this weekend at the Dominican College ?Charger Challenge. The Spartans fired team rounds of 298 and 299 falling to host Dominican, who carded an impressive final round of 5 under par as a team.
  • Miranda Leads Spartans to 2nd Place Finish at Penmen Invitational
    September 19, 2017
    Senior Mike Miranda led the men's golf team to a second place finish behind host SNHU in the Penmen Invitational. During the first round of play, junior Jack Phillips shot his low collegiate round firing a stellar 69. Miranda had a solid round carding a 70, while Hamish Houston posted 71. Shkelqim Kukaj shot 73 while Tom Holmes posted 77 in his first round ever as a Spartan.
  • Spartans Finish 3rd at Franklin Pierce Invitational
    September 12, 2017
    The men’s golf team opened the fall season with a 3rd place finish in the 2017 Franklin Pierce Invitational. The Spartans posted rounds of 301 and 316 for a 2-day total of 617.
