The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished in 2nd place at the Tim Brown Invitational this weekend. Hamish Houston tied for 3rd place with a two day score of 147. Michael Miranda shot an opening round score of 72 to help the Spartans. The tournament was played at Ballston Spa Country Club in Ballston Spa, NY.
Babson College won the event, edging the Spartans by one shot. RPI, Concordia College and hosting Skidmore rounded out the top five. Tom Holmes and Jack Phillips both tied for 12th place while Shkelqim Kukaj finished tied for 18th place.
The Spartans will participate in the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional Championship at The Resort At Glade Springs in Daniels, WV on May 7th.
