The St. Thomas Aquinas Men's golf team finished 4th in their annual Spring Invitational down at Rum Pointe Seaside Links, shooting a team score of 602 (301-301) over two rounds. Leading the team was senior Michael Miranda, who finished runner-up with a two day score of 142 (69-73). Miranda was one of two players in the field to finish the event in red numbers.
Junior Jack Phillips had his best showing of the spring carding rounds of 77 and 75. Phillip's total of 152 earned him a T-16 finish. Teammate Hamish Houston fired rounds of 78 and 76 while Shkelqim Kukaj posted two rounds of 77. Both were good enough for a T-24 finish. Tom Holmes rounded out the team scoring with round of 78 and 81 earning him a 43rd place finish.
The Spartans have the weekend off before the play their final regular season event at the Skidmore College "Tim Brown Invitational."
