St. Thomas Aquinas College Merges the Leadership of Their Track & Field and Cross Country Programs
May 29, 2019Director of Athletics, Gerald Oswald announced that the St. Thomas Aquinas College men’s and women’s track and field programs will merge their leadership structure with the cross country programs and be led by one single coaching staff. Upon completion of the 2019 outdoor track and field season, the two programs will be led by Head Coach Lorne Marcus and his coaching staff. -

October 18, 2018The Spartan cross country program held their ground in the week 5 USTFCCCA Regional polls. The women remain in the 6th spot in the East Region while the men stayed in the 10 spot. -

October 13, 2018On Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas College cross country program hosted the Spartan Alumni Run. This 5K race at Tallman Mountain State Park is an annual event that units the past and present Spartan runners. -
Women Ranked #6 In Region, Men Ranked #10
October 10, 2018In week 4 of the USTFCCCA polls, both cross country teams jumped back into the East Regional polls. The women came in at #6 after being unranked the prior week, while the men re-entered the poll at #10. -

October 07, 2018The STAC Cross Country teams participated at the NJIT Highlander Invitational at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ. Personal records highlighted the day as both the men and women finished in 2nd place. -
Spartans Preview Conference Championship Course
September 23, 2018The St. Thomas Aquinas College cross country program traveled to Rochester, NY to compete in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational. The race was a great opportunity to race the course they will see at the conference championship in Early November which will be hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. -
Men's Cross Country Ranked #10 in East Region
September 19, 2018In the first USTFCCCA poll of the season, the Spartan cross country team was ranked in the #10 spot. This follows their opening race at the University of Notre Dame last weekend. -
Spartans Open Season at National Catholic Invitational at the University of Notre Dame
September 14, 2018The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's & Women's Cross Country teams began the 2018 season at the National Catholic Invitational in South Bend, Indiana. The race, which was hosted by the University of Notre Dame, consisted of a strong field of Division I, II and III teams. -

September 11, 2018The East Coast Conference has released the 2018 Preseason Poll and the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans have been chosen to finish 2nd. In the USTFCCCA East Region Preseason Poll, the Spartans landed at #9 for the 2018 season. -
Women's Cross Country Picked 2nd in ECC, 9th in Region
September 11, 2018The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Cross Country team has been chosen to finish 2nd in the East Coast Conference for the 2018 season. The USTFCCCA has ranked them #10 in their preseason poll. -
Torpey Chosen as ECC Preseason Runner of the Year
September 03, 2018Spartan junior Aida Torpey has been named the Preseason Runner of the Year by the East Coast Conference. Torpey was a key factor in the teams 2017 2nd place ECC finish and 7th place finish in the East Region.
