STAC Fails to Convert Chances Against Roberts Wesleyan, Falls 1–0

Sparkill, N.Y. - Despite a plethora of scoring chances on Saturday afternoon, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Roberts Wesleyan University in the team's East Coast Conference Regular Season finale at Spartan Field.

STAC falls to 6-6-2 overall and 5-3-0 in ECC action, while Roberts Wesleyan improves to 9-1-6 and 4-0-3.

Louis Ferrari tallied the lone goal for the Redhawks on a deflection via a header from Luke Hanes, which all started with a corner kick by Cooper Kerridge. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Eric Jewson (9-1-6) turned away all nine shots faced to earn the shutout victory.

For the Spartans, keeper Dante Muntane (L, 5-5-2) made one stop on two shots in a losing effort.
