Johnstown, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Golf team wrapped up their 2025-2026 campaign on Saturday, with a 17th place finish at the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional. The Spartans carded a total team score of 899 (+59) over three days and 54 holes at the Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Junior Diego Ocasio (214/+4) led the team for the entire tournament and is finished tied for sixth among individual golfers.
The top three teams (Gannon University, University of Charleston (WV) and Wheeling (WV) University) and the top two student-athletes not with a team (Hector Arriaga (Glenville State (WV) University) and Adam Gill (West Liberty (WV) University) from each regional advance to the finals May 18-22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The finals will be hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
