STAC Women's Lacrosse Falls at Holy Family, 20-2

Philadelphia, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team dropped its ninth straight contest, falling 20-2 to Holy Family University on Thursday afternoon at Tiger Field in the City of Brotherly Love.

STAC falls to 3-11 overall, while Holy Family moves to 6-8.

Jada Garcia and Charlotte Luquer led the Spartans' offense with a goal apiece on the day. Goalie Lilah Magenheimer (L, 3-8) got the start between the pipes for the maroon and gold and stopped 12 of 32 shots faced.

Meanwhile, Holy Family was led by Rianna Shields, who tallied five goals and two assists, while Gwen Varley added four goals and a helper. Teammates Abby Perkins (3 goals, 1 assist), Taina Harkins (3 goals, 1 assist), Payton Pugh (2 goals, 2 assists), Lexi Ryan (2 goals, 1 assist), and Julie Gallardo (1 goal, 1 assist) added to the totals both on the scoreboard and the scoresheet. Goalie Nicole Wiser (W, 5-5) made three stops on five shots to even her record on the year.
