University Park, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Volleyball team made its way to the Keystone State for a pair of matches on the Penn State University campus. First up, the No. 13 ranked Nittany Lions on Thursday evening at Rec Hall. Despite putting together a pair of close sets to open the match, the hosts took a 3-0 decision from the maroon and gold.
STAC slips to 1-3 on the season, while Penn State remains perfect at 3-0.

How it Happened
- As a team, Penn State recorded 41 kills compared to St. Thomas Aquinas' 25. The Nittany Lions also had 6.5 blocks and 39 assists, while the Spartans tallied 5 blocks and 24 assists.
- Penn State outhit STAC by a .439 to .182 margin for the match.
- Jakob Schwarz paced the Spartans offense with a team-high six kills. He also registered four digs and three block assists.
- Marcus Franck tallied a team-high 20 serve assists (6.67 assists/set). Franck also accumulated a kill and two digs for the maroon and gold.
- Ylan Tapper picked up five kills, a serve assist, two digs and two block assists on Thursday evening.
- Luis Grath racked up five kills and two block assists against the Nittany Lions.
