Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Volleyball team extended its current winning streak to five matches on Friday evening by sweeping Fairleigh Dickinson University, 3-0 at the Spartan Athletic Complex.
STAC improves to 8-6 on the season, while FDU falls to the .500 mark at 5-5.

How it Happened
- As a team, STAC recorded 44 kills compared to FDU's 32. The Spartans also had 7 blocks and 44 assists, while the Knights tallied 7.5 blocks and 32 assists.
- St. Thomas Aquinas College outhit Fairleigh Dickinson University by a .326 to .165 margin for the match.
- Gabriel Vieira led the Spartans offense with a match-high 19 kills. He also had an assist, three digs, a solo block and two block assists.
- Marcus Franck tallied 33 serve assists (11.0 assists/set). Franck also accumulated four kills, two service aces and four digs and a block assist for the maroon and gold.
- Kyran Versteegen registered 11 kills, six assists, a service ace, six digs and a block assist for the Spartans.
- Jannis Freude recorded seven kills and three digs on the evening.
- David Weiss picked up three kills, an assist, a service ace, a dig, a solo block and two block assists for STAC on Friday.
- Ivaylo Todorov accumulated seven digs over three sets.
