Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team completed the weekend sweep of their opponents on Sunday afternoon by downing Post University, 89-72, in front of a sellout crowd at Aquinas Hall Gymnasium in lower Rockland County.
STAC improves to 3-2 on the season, while Post slips to 1-3.
All five Spartans starters finished in double figures, as Jordan Green led the way with a game-high 20 points, followed by teammates Ky Panda-Massey (15 points), William Landram (14 points), Joshua Michigan (12 points) and Starrell Hearns (10 points). Meanwhile, Ta'Quan Williams paced the visiting Eagles with 16 points.
STAC NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Nine Spartans logged double-digit minutes in the contest.
- Starrell Hearns led the maroon and gold with five assists on the day.
- Jordan Green hit 7 of his 12 field goal attempts and 6-of-7 free throws. Meanwhile, Ky Panda-Massey went 6-for-8 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.
- STAC out-rebounded Post by a 41-27 count, with William Landram II grabbing a game-high nine boards for the Spartans.
- St. Thomas Aquinas swiped six steals, with the Eagles turning the ball over on 15 separate occasions.
- The Spartans earned advantages in three team statistical categories over Post: Second Chance Points (19-8), Points in the Paint (46-32) and Bench Points (18-10).
- The game featured one tie and four lead changes.
- STAC's largest lead of the game came with just under five minutes to play in Sunday's contest, when the Spartans led by 21 points, 83-62, on a Starrell Hearns three-point jumper.
- St. Thomas Aquinas led 48-37 going into the halftime locker room and shot 56.3 percent (18-32) from the field and 50.0 percent (5-10) from long range.
- Jordan Green led all scorers with 12 first half points for the Spartans, while shooting 80.0 percent (4-of-5) from both the floor and from the free-throw line.

- Post's largest lead of the game came with just under ten minutes to play in the first half, when the Eagles led by 11 points, 28-17, on a pair of Zion Lott free throws.
- Zion Lott led all Eagles' scorers with nine first half points, while shooting 50.0 percent (3-of-6) from the field.
- Post's best shooting half came in the second stanza, as the Eagles shot 42.9 percent (15-35) from the floor.
