Sparkill, N.Y. - Clemence Papleux's double overtime penalty stroke goal sent the St. Thomas Aquinas College Field Hockey to a 3-2 victory over Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday afternoon in the team's 2025 season finale at Spartan Field.

STAC closes out its campaign at 4-13 overall and 3-9 in conference play, while SNHU falls to 12-6 and 8-4, but advances to the upcoming NE10 Field Hockey postseason tournament.

Prior to the contest, the Spartans honored their graduating senior class; Kayla Martini, Gianna Sacco, Lilah Magenheimer and team manager Derek "Doogie" James with on-field ceremonies, which included the athletes' families, friends, teammates, coaches and college administrators.

Once the pregame festivities concluded STAC got down to business, as Catherine Horn, Brianna Cote and Clemence Papleux tallied a goal apiece. In the cage, Ailsa Ogilvie (W, 4-12) stopped 16 of 18 shots faced to earn her fourth win of the year.

Meanwhile, Southern New Hampshire received scoring Sophie Bilodeau and Kendall Dubois, while Agustina Miranda Waigand made two stops on four shots and Margaux de Bievre (L, 0-1) allowed the double OT penalty stroke goal.
