St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball player Ashley Motrechuk was named the ECC Rookie of the Week in the Lady Spartans 1-0 week.  Motrechuk scored 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in STAC's 60-51 win at NYIT.  The freshman had 3 blocks and 1 assist while shooting 4-for-7 from the floor.
