The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Molloy College on Thursday afternoon, 10-2 and 8-2.  ToniAnn Groth and Kim Nowak each hit home runs.  Sam McDonald went 3-for-7 for the day. 

In game one, McDonald stole home in the 4th to make the score 2-1 in favor of the Lions.  McDonald also added a double in the 5th that helped lead to a run.

Groth hit a home run in the second inning of game 2 giving the Lady Spartans an early 1-0 lead. Nowak added a home run of her own in the fifth, her second of the season. She was 2-2 with a walk for the game. Megan Sweezy got the loss on the mound. 

STAC will play Dowling on Saturday afternoon.
