The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team opening the 2013 season on Friday in Clermont, FL.  STAC dropped their first game, 3-1, against Findlay before falling 5-0 to Alderson-Broaddus.  Maura Power and Megan Sweezey each took the loss on the mound.

In game one, Kimberly Nowak hit her first collegiate home run in the 6th inning scoring the Lady Spartans lone run. 

The Lady Spartans will play 8 games during their Spring Break trip in FL.
