The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team beat AIC, 10-4 and St. Michael's 4-2 in their 5th and 6th games played while in Clermont, FL.  Toni Ann Groth hit a grand slam in the 3rd and was 2-for-2 for the day.  Laura Navarro went 4-for-4 in the second game.  Megan Sweezy and Maura Power each earned wins on the mound for STAC and Kim Nowak earned her first save.

Sam McDonald went 3-for-8 with 2 RBI for the day.  In the second game, the Lady Spartans had a team effort with six players having two or more hits.  Melissa Place had 2 RBI while Shelby Coyle and Niki Nevola each added 1 RBI.  

STAC is now 3-3 and will finish out their trip with two more games on Wednesday before returning home.
