The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Mercy College, 15-0 & 4-2 on Thursday afternoon.  Samantha McDonald went 4-for-5 and scored a run in game two.  Shelby Coyle, Jamie McCormick and ToniAnn Groth all went 2-for-3 for the day.

The Mavericks scored 15 runs off 20 hits in game one.  The Lady Spartans left six stranded off 3 hits and 3 walks.  In game two, McCormick along with Megan Sweezy each had an RBI single in the 3rd to score both of the Lady Spartans runs. Maura Power had the los on the mound, and struck out 4 batters.
