Lady Spartan Softball player, Samantha McDonald, was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.  She was 14-for-21 for the week , batting .667 and guiding STAC to a 3-3 week. The rookie scored six runs, had three RBI and five doubles for the week. Against the Purple Knights, McDonald went 3-for-3 including a two-run homerun to give STAC the win. McDonald’s 7th inning double against NYIT also set up the game winning run.
