The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to C.W. Post, 6-1 in both games on Tuesday afternoon.  Toni Ann Groth his a homerun to left field in game run to score for the Lady Spartans.  In game two, Michelle Sasso scored off an RBi single from Rachael Hannawalt. 

In game one, Groths homer came in the 6th inning with two outs.  STAC stranded four runners in the game.  Catherine Havens went 3-for-4 with a run for the Pioneers.  Maura Power had 4 strike outs in the loss. 

In the second game, Sasso doubled with two outs in the top of the 5th.  Hannawalt batted her in with a hit to right field.  Havens was 2-for-2 with a run for C.W. Post.  Katie Meyers pitched 3 innings giving up 5 hits in the 6-1 loss.

The Lady Spartans will travel to NYIT on Thursday for a double header starting at 3:00.
