The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to C.W. Post on Saturday dropping two games, 5-2 and 7-0.  Megan Sweezey hit a 2 RBI homerun for the Lady Spartans in game one.  STAC hosted a charity event to raise funds to support research for Cystic Fibrosis.  The Lady Spartans raised $300.00 toward the cause. 

In game one, Heather Clausen walked and advanced to second on a wild pitch before Sweezy's blast scored both of them in the 2nd inning.  The home run tied the game at 2-up but the Pioneers added three runs in the 5th to secure the win.  Maura Power had 3 strikeouts in the loss. 

The Lady Spartans finished conference play with an ECC record of 3-25.  The Lady Spartans are 9-31 overall and have games against Philadelphia University and Felician remaining.
