The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Mercy College, 2-1 in 12 innings before falling 12-2 in the second game.  Victoria Tiso had an RBI single to score Katie Meyers in game one.  Megan Sweezy and Shelby Coyle each hit solo home runs in game two for the Lady Spartans.  

Jenna Ausiello hit the game winning RBI double for the Mavericks to score Brittany Serrao in the 12th.  Maura Power pitched the entire game for STAC with 9 strikeouts in the loss.  Sweezy had 2 strike outs in 5 innings in game two.

The Lady Spartans will play at C.W. Post on Tuesday.
