St. Thomas Aquinas baseball player Fank Salerno was named the ECC player of the week guiding the Spartans to a 4-0 week, hitting 6-for-13 (.462).  The junior had ten runs, three RBI and seven stolen bases.  In the win against Felician, Salerno hit safely all five times, stole five bases and scored four runs.

The Spartans have had back to back players of the week with Andrew Hancsak earning the honors the previous week.  Senior Matt Marotta was named the ECC Pitcher of the Week last week after pitching a no hitter in STAC's 4-1 win over Adelphi.
