Samantha McDonald and Rob Frank were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for April.
Samantha McDonald, Softball:
Samantha played in all 24 Lady Spartan Softball Games during the month of April. McDonald, in 83 at-bats, posted a .434 batting average with 36 hits, 7 RBIs, 12 runs scored and an on-base percentage of .466, while slugging .590. Sam tallied 26 singles, 8 doubles, 1 triple and went yard once during this period. She was also walked 3 times (1 Intentional Walk) and hit by pitches twice.
The Freshman Outfielder from New City, NY was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week on April 29th.
