Abagaile Kimbrell and Daniel Agostinho-Vides have been named the East Coast Conference Women's and Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively on Tuesday, following the Spartans latest race of the season, the St. Joseph's College Golden Eagle Invitational, which took place on Sunday in Farmingdale, N.Y.
Kimbrell (Gr./Monroe, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the women's squad on the afternoon with a time of 18:41.02 (1st place), which helped the Lady Spartans secure a first place team finish.
Meanwhile, Agostinho-Vides (Sr./Westwood, N.J.) was the top finisher on the day for the men with a time of 27:01.77 (5th place), which aided the Spartans in taking a first place team finish.
STAC will next compete at the St. Joseph's College Invitational on Saturday, October 16. The meet takes place at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY and will begin at 11 am.
