Freshman Robert Guidicipietro was named the East Coast Conference Runner of the Week, while classmate Jonathan Gay was tabbed the Rookie of the Week following the Spartans 1st place team finish at the NJIT Technology Challenge.  Guidicipietro was the first DII finisher crossing the line in 26:14. His second place finish overall was his top finish of the 2016 season. Gay finished in fourth place overall at the NJIT Technology Challenge. He covered the 8K course in 26:27 and was the second Spartan finisher.
