Lancia hails from Galloway, Ohio before making his move to the Northeast. Playing for 5 years at Stevens Institute of Technology, Lancia garnered 3 All Conference team nods throughout his career while also helping lead his team to 3 straight MAC Championships and 3 Final Four appearances (2022-2024) culminating in a 2023 National Championship Title. He also trained with the D3 Collegiate National Team in Brazil in 2021. Lancia brings a fiery energy to the gym both on the court and on the sidelines. Lancia graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree, bringing a unique analytical perspective to coaching focused on reading the game as it develops. Growing up coaching all throughout his highschool years, Lancia’s passion and desire to pursue coaching brought him to the GEVA Regional team, where his and coach Basco’s paths crossed. Preaching authenticity, commitment, and the pursuit of excellence Lancia excitedly joins the St. Thomas Aquinas College women’s volleyball staff as the assistant coach while remaining involved in the local club volleyball circuit.
