Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Volleyball team came up short in a tightly contested non-conference clash, falling to Pace University, 3-0, on Tuesday evening at the Spartan Athletic Complex in Rockland County.
STAC fall to 2-7 on the year, while Pace improves to 7-1 overall.

How it Happened
- As a team, Pace recorded 32 kills compared to St. Thomas Aquinas' 28. The Setters also had 9 blocks and 29 assists, while the Spartans tallied 1 block and 27 assists.
- Pace outhit STAC by a .304 to .000 margin for the match.
- Adriana Zarceno paced the Spartans offense with a team-high 12 kills. nine digs.
- Anna Gazzerro tallied 24 serve assists (8.0 assists/set). Gazzerro also accumulated a service ace and three digs for the maroon and gold.
- Kamila Zoe Rosa picked up five kills and two digs.
- Chloe Weiting tallied four kills, a service ace and eight digs on the evening.
- Laura Rojas Gomez put together a three kill, one service ace, and two dig effort against the Setters.
