Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Volleyball team closed out its 2025 non-conference schedule on Monday, taking on Georgian Court University at the Spartan Athletic Complex in Rockland County.
Hosting its Dig Pink Breast Cancer Awareness night, the Spartans dropped the first set of the evening to the Lions, but were able to rally for three straight set victories to take the match 3-1.
STAC moves to 5-15 overall, while GCU falls to 6-16.

How it Happened
- As a team, St. Thomas Aquinas recorded 50 kills compared to Georgian Court's 31. The Spartans also had 8 blocks and 43 assists, while the Lions tallied 7 blocks and 30 assists.
- STAC outhit GCU by a .208 to .047 margin for the match.
- Adriana Zarceno paced the Spartans offense with a match-high 19 kills. She also registered a serve assist, 16 digs and a block assist.
- Anna Gazzerro tallied a match-high 36 serve assists (9.0 assists/set). Gazzerro also accumulated a kill, two service aces and eight digs for the maroon and gold.
- Laura Rojas Gomez picked up nine kills, three service aces and five kills in the match.
- Natassia Romanoff also racked up nine kills, along with a dig and a solo block on the evening.
- Christianna Roberts accumulated six kills, a dig and a solo block against the Lions.
- Kamila Zoe Rosa put together a five kill, one serve assist, four dig, four solo block and one block assist effort on Monday.
- Boglarka Kiss contributed a match-high 17 digs, with Kiss also picking up three serve assists and four service aces.
