Caldwell, N.J. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Volleyball team snapped a mini two-match losing streak on Friday evening by downing Caldwell University, 3-0, at the George R. Newman Center in New Jersey.

STAC moves to 3-7 on the year, while Caldwell falls to 0-11.

How it Happened

• As a team, St. Thomas Aquinas recorded 39 kills compared to Caldwell's 23. The Spartans also had 1 block and 37 assists, while the Cougars tallied 8 blocks and 19 assists.
• STAC outhit Caldwell by a .218 to .053 margin for the match.
• Laura Rojas Gomez paced the Spartans offense with a match-high 13 kills. She also registered seven digs
• Anna Gazzerro tallied a match-high 29 serve assists (9.67 assists/set). Gazzerro also accumulated a kill, three service aces and six digs for the maroon and gold.
• Adriana Zarceno picked up 12 kills, two serve assists, a service ace and nine digs in the match.
• Chloe Weiting racked up five kills, three serve assists, eight digs and a block assist.
• Boglarka Kiss contributed three serve assists, four service aces and a match-high 15 digs.
