THE ROCKHILL REPORT

"I was concerned about this match as we had just come off a tremendous emotional and physical grind at the ITA Regional last weekend", said Coach Dan Rockhill. "We also have several new players that were playing their first intercollegiate match. I was really impressed with how the ladies handled the day."

"We have promise but we have a lot of work to do. The players seem to be buying into the mission and come to work hard daily. I am fortunate to have a good staff and solid veteran leadership. It is going to be fun to witness the team's improvement and find out if we can compete with the region's best teams."

"I am happy for our freshman (Anaya, Ombeline and Mar) as they yielded only one game collectively in their singles matches", remarked Rockhill. "The STAC community is going to be hearing a lot about these three for a long time.

"Elita (Silins), who was our most impactful player for the day, was amazing", commented Rockhill. "She was very stingy with points lost. It is always great to get the first singles point on the board in any match."

"I am impressed with Molloy", stated Rockhill. "They displayed great fight and sportsmanship. They have some nice pieces in place. I expect coach (Kristen) Cassidy to build a very successful program quickly."
