Viktoriia Pavlovets has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 7-0 victory over the University of New Haven to open the 2021 season.
Pavlovets picked up a pair of wins in the Spartans’ season-opening victory against New Haven. She started the day with a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles before topping Stephanie Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
The Spartans will open the ECC portion of their schedule with back-to-back contests at Daemen College and newest conference member D'Youville College on March 27 and 28.
