The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team fell to Queens, 5-0 in the semi finals of the ECC Championship. The Spartans were the #4 seed taking on host #1 seed Queens College. The Knights entered the tournament undefeated and went on to win and advance to the Championship. Earlier in the season, STAC put up a hard fought match against Queens, falling 5-4.
The Spartans had a strong finish to their season winning their final four regular season games and six of their last eight. STAC finsihed 4-3 in the ECC and will return six players to next season's roster.
