The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat ECC newcomer, Daemen College, 5-4 in Saturday afternoon's match. Samantha Vinci and Shannon Biehl paired up for a second flight doubles win, 9-7. Samantha D'Andrea and Raven DeLeon picked up their first doubles win as a Spartan, 8-2. D'Andrea and DeLeon also won their singles matches to help STAC pick up the victory.
Biehl also had her first singles win as a Lady Spartan, 6-1, 6-3 over Amon Shoma. The Lady Spartans are now 1-1 in ECC play and will travel to the District of Columbia for their next match on Friday, September, 13th.
