Orangeburg, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team suffered its third straight shutout loss, falling on the road to crosstown rivals Dominican University 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon at O'Brien Field.
STAC falls to 0-3-0 on the year, while Dominican moves to 1-1-1.
Sophia Stahl tallied the lone goal in the match for the Chargers in the 79th minute, with the assists going to teammates Nathalia Oliveira and Jessie Maraia.
Sophie Stanley posted a shot on frame for the Spartans, with goalie Stella Paton (W, 1-1-1) turning it aside to preserve the shutout for her squad.
Madison Lepage (L, 0-2) got the start in net for STAC and turned aside 6 of 7 shots directed her way.
