St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer Goalkeeper Alessandra Santoriello has been named the ECC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, following the Spartans 8-0 shutout victory over Lincoln University last weekend.
Santoriello (Jr./Nutley, N.J.) had to make just three saves for St. Thomas Aquinas against the Lions, to pick up her first win of the 2021 season, with her Spartan teammates keeping the ball in the offensive zone for most of the match.
STAC (2-3) will host Mercy College on Tuesday, September 21 for an ECC meeting at 2pm.
