Rochester, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team made the trek to Western New York for a Saturday afternoon East Coast Conference matchup with Roberts Wesleyan University. A nine-goal first quarter outburst sent the Redhawks to an eventual 23-1 victory over the Spartans.
STAC falls to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in ECC play, while Roberts Wesleyan moves to 3-7 and 2-1.
Jada Garcia tallied the lone goal of the contest for the Spartans, with just under 11 minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Goalie Lilah Magenheimer (L, 0-5) got the start in cage for the maroon and gold and stopped 8 of 31 shots faced.
Meanwhile, Roberts Wesleyan was led by Kadie Tierney (2 assists) and Brooke Guelli (1 assist) who tallied five goals apiece, while teammate Lia MacDougall scored four times, Alison Dioguardi added a hat trick and four assists, and Ella Dossier picked up a pair of goals and added five helpers. Erica Savage (1 goal, 1 assist), Gianna Parise (1 goal, 1 assist), Mia Robinson (1 goal) and Allison Clahane (1 goal) also added to the totals on the scoreboard. Goalie Josella Harrison (W, 3-7) got the start in net for the Redhawks and turned aside 1 of 2 shots fired her way.

- STAC won 4 of 25 draw controls, with Clemence Papleux winning three.
