Amherst, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team closed out their 2026 season on Saturday afternoon, falling to Daemen University 20-0 at Royal Park in Western New York.
STAC wraps up its campaign at 2-11 overall and 1-5 in ECC play, while Daemen improves to 9-5 and 4-2.
Daemen controlled the match from start to finish, leading things 13-0 at halftime, while adding seven more goals the rest of the way.
Avery Castner put together four-goal performance for the Wildcats, while Abbey Kamas, Ella Bouley, Adison Pollutro and Maria Salvo tallied two goals apiece. Sadie Schlesselman (4 assists), Kylie Miranto (2 assists), Grace Heath (2 assists), Camryn Day (1 assist), Ava Smith (1 assist), Sylvie Dickerman, Jenna Havert and Mikayla Myer also added to the totals on the scoreboard with a goal each. Goalie Mia Caryl (W, 9-4) got the start in goal for Daemen and faced no shots in the first half to earn the victory. Fellow netminder Molly Evans saw action in the second half and turned aside both shots fired her way.
Lilah Magenheimer (L, 2-9) got the start between the pipes for the Spartans and made 10 stops on 30 total shots sent in her direction.

- Jade Gorman and Victoria Calabro tallied a team-high one shot apiece for the Spartans, with them both going on net.
