Women’s Bowling Finishes Ninth, Builds Momentum for Future

Hackensack, N.J. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Bowling team took part in the first Dr. Robert Cincotta Memorial, hosted by Molloy University on Saturday afternoon at Bowler City in Hackensack, N.J. The Spartans placed ninth recording an 0-4 record alongside averaging 122.7 through five baker matches.

How it Happened

  • STAC dropped a 727-612 decision to Wagner College to open the event.
  • The Spartans then fell to Adelphi University 967-661 in match two.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas took a 965-631 match three defeat at the hands of Kutztown University.
  • The maroon and gold ended the day's events with a 982-638 setback to Dominican University.
  • Day two of the Dr. Robert Cincotta Memorial has been cancelled due to the forecasted Nor'easter which is expected to hit the East Coast on Sunday.
