St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Bowling Student-Athlete Niamh McKevitt was selected as the recipient of the East Coast Conference's Elite 19 Award on Wednesday. 

The ECC Elite 19 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 19 championships.

McKevitt, a senior and Sheffield, England native, earns the award after compiling a 3.96 GPA as a History major, and while minoring in Economics.

The Spartan Women's Bowling team participated in three tournaments during their shortened 2021 season this past winter, where they continued to grow and develop the program. STAC will be looking to return to a full schedule in the 2021-2022, facing opponents such as Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, Felician University, Molloy College and Roberts Wesleyan College among other top teams in the region.
