Bailey Chapman Tabbed All-Met Division II Women's Basketball Honorable Mention Selection

The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Basketball team picked up some hardware on Thursday, as the annual Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association awards were released. Senior guard/forward Bailey Chapman was tabbed as an Honorable Mention All-Met selection.

Chapman played and started in all 28 regular season games for the Spartans, while averaging 35.1 minutes per contest. The Sparta, New Jersey native ranked first on the team in minutes per game (35.1 - 4th ECC), total minutes played (984 - 3rd ECC), points per game (12.2), total points (341), rebounds per game (7.5), total rebounds (210 - 5th ECC), assists per game (2.0), total assists (57), total three-point field goals made (48 - 4th ECC) and total free throws made (73). She was also second on the squad in three-point field goal percentage (36.6 percent - 2nd ECC) and third in free-throw percentage (83.9 percent - 2nd ECC).

Chapman was also named an All-Conference Third Team selection by the East Coast Conference on March 3.

The 2025-26 All-Met teams will be honored at the 93rd MBWA Haggerty Awards dinner on Thursday, April 23, at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center in Tarrytown, NY. The Haggerty dinner is the longest running, media-managed college basketball awards program in the United States.
