St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Basketball player Sarah Ericson has been named as a First Team All-East Region selection by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA).

Ericson helped lead the Spartans to an ECC postseason finals appearance and the team's first NCAA D2 Tournament selection since 2019, averaging 12.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, with NCAA Division II Tournament games still to play. In recognition of her extraordinary season, the sophomore guard from Norwich, Conn. was also recently named the ECC Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference member.

In Ericsons' outstanding two years in Sparkill to date, she has amassed 660 points, 458 rebounds, 197 assists, 82 steals and 6 blocked shots in 57 games played.

Ericson has previously been tabbed as ECC Rookie of the Year and a Second Team All-ECC member in 2021-2022.
