Staten Island, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Track and Field team closed out its Fall 2025 Semester schedule at the Wagner College Seahawk Shootout, which was held on Friday afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
On the day, Darwin Almonte set a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles by placing second in the event with a time of 8.30, while Ronaldo Rodriguez Perez also set a new program mark with his perfomance in the 600 meter run, clocking in at 1:23.44 for a 14th place finish.
STAC returns to action after the holidays and mandatory NCAA Division II break, as the maroon and gold will open 2026 with the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Invitational on Friday, January 9. The one-day event will be held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
