The St. Thomas Aquinas Men's Outdoor Track & Field team has been ranked 3rd, while the Women's squad was ranked 4th in first Division II East Region Poll of the season, released by the USTFCCCA on Tuesday afternoon.

In three meets to date this spring, the Spartans have recorded outstanding results, with multiple top-10 finishes in events and have had six athletes receive recognition from the East Coast Conference for their individual successes in either track or field events.

March 22: Andrew Drescher (Men's Track Athlete of the Week), Emmanuel Mena-Jimenez (Men's Field Athlete of the Week), Guerlourde Estabine (Women's Field Athlete of the Week)

March 28: Elizah Gordon (Men's Track Athlete of the Week), Emmanuel Mena-Jimenez (Men's Field Athlete of the Week), Sylar Moreno (Women's Track Athlete of the Week) 

STAC next heads to New Jersey for the Ramapo College Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 1 & 2 at the college's Athletic Center in Mahwah.
