St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Track & Field athletes Dante Brown and DeAndre Smith have qualified to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will be held at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama on March 13th & 14th.
Brown, the junior sprinter/jumper from Nyack, NY, will compete in the Long Jump, where he is currently ranked 17th nationally with a leap of 7.39 meters (24'3").
Meanwhile, Smith, the sophomore from Brentwood, NY, will take part in the High Jump, where he presently ranked 9th in the nation with a jump of 2.11 meters (6'11").
Both Spartans will compete in their respective events on March 13th, the first day of the championships, with the Long Jump set to begin at 6pm EDT/5pm EDT and the High Jump to commence at approximately 6:35pm EDT/5:35pm EDT. You can watch all of the action LIVE on NCAA.com.
