On Saturday, the Spartan Track & Field team competed at the Roadrunner Invitational hosted by Ramapo College. Tara Hansen ran 18.68 to break the school record in the 100 hurdles.
The Lady Spartans finished in 11th place in the event out of 26 teams that scored. Kristen Borriello took 2nd place in the 800 with a time of 2:19.90. Allison Borriello took 6th place in the 1500 with a time of 5:00.99, marking a new personal best for her. A. Borriello, Kristen Borriello, Gina Funaro and Gabby Sloezen took 3rd place in the 4x800 with a time of 9:55.71.
The Men's team finished 19th overall with over 28 team scoring. Winslow Dorsainvil took 5th place in the 100 with times of 10.90 and 11.00 in the 100. The 4x100 team of Ricardo Reid, Lloyd Smalling, Mohammed Ifthikar, and Winslow Dorsainvil took 6th place in the 4x100 with a time of 43.42.
