Select members of the St. Thomas Aquinas Track & Field Program competed in the prestigious Penn Relays on Thursday and Friday.  Despite the cold weather, the 4x400 team of Gabby Sloezen, Gina Funaro, Kristen Borriello, and Allie Borriello ran 4:09.34 which was their top time for the outdoor season.

The Lady Spartans 4x100 team of Kaitlyn Mancini, Gabby Sloezen, Laura Gerraputa, and Tiana Kirkland ran a time of 50.43 which was there second best time of the season.  The Sprint Medley Team of Tiana Kirkland, Sloezen, A. Borriello, and K. Borriello ran 4:18.56.

The Spartans 4x100 team of Travis Volpe, Winslow Dorsainvil, Ricardo Reid, and Mohammed Ifthikar ran 44.09.  The 4x400 team of Dylan Bestler, Reid, Campbell Zicchino ran 3:38.70.  The Sprint Medley Relay team of Travis Volpe, Ricardo Reid, Dylan Bestler, and Stephen Mcniff ran 3:58.60.

The Spartans will be racing at the Last Chance Meet at Princeton on Saturday.
