Senior sprinter George Erazo has qualified for the NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Nationals in Allendale, Michigan.  He qualifies after setting the standard in the East Region in the 400m in a time of 47:56.  He is currently ranked 19th in the nation.  Erazo will race on Thursday at 5:40 PM.

Erazo, from North Babylon, is no stranger to success on the track.  He has been an All-Region and All-Conference runner.  He has also been the ECC Track Athlete of the Year as well as the Athlete of the Meet at the ECC Championships.  Most recently, Erazo received the Excellence in Community and Character Award from the ECC.  This award is a tribute to all of his positive attributes.  It highlighted his dedication to the STAC Athletic Department, the community and his team.  Erazo graduated this past Friday with a degree in Sports Management.
